About Me
Hi, I'm Cecily. After spending 30 wonderful years in San Francisco, I'm hitting the road with my side-kick Sparky to reconnect with family and friends, see as many National Parks, and possibly find a new home.

I spent almost 10 years working for a luxury hotel company in sales. I loved the travel, comradery, structure and training. But I wanted more and, in order for me to pursue becoming a general manager, I needed F&B experience. So, I went to culinary school which I had always dreamed of.

It was hard work, low pay but very rewarding. I loved cooking professionally. After cooking for 7 years, I combined my sales/food experiences and worked in specialty food sales for the last 20 years.

I need to reset my buttons again. Though I had never camped, stayed in an RV or let alone pull one, I decided to buy a new Airstream and set-off to see the country. I'd be safe and stylish too, lol. How hard could it be? You might be surprised, you can do it too!
Initially this trip was going to be one year, returning to my Bay Area base. That was pushed back late last year, because I needed to have my hip replaced. It was unplanned and set me back a few months. (I feel amazing now and can't believe how much I accomplished with so much pain.) I got back on the road in March 2020 and haven't looked back.

Then the world stopped. It's not the right time for me to continue the trip as planned, but I am continuing the adventure...living in my Airstream full-time. I love it.
